The revolt of the Irreconcilables against John Boehner’s leadership of the House, and against any member of the Republican congressional caucus not outfitted with a Reynolds Wrap chapeau,is probably the funniest thing since Willard Romney hit the checkout line at Costco. There’s still a chance that it’s mostly kabuki theater for the rubes and yahoos, but Senator Jim DeMint (R-Twelve Oaks) seems seriously to want Boehner’s head for a Christmas centerpiece.
